Happy Thursday folks! I've been in SF this week working on a little garden and a few lightwells in their house. This city always inspires me with it's beauty.

The rain has definitely been here in the Pacific NW this week but so has the sunshine. Happy weekend, hope you're able to get outside!

More Child Friendly Gardens

A Sweet family of four inspired this SF garden. They needed a safe place to play above their deck so an old carport behind their house with access from an alley was converted and grass installed. We built a corner sand box and painted a chalk board above it. The bottom photo is of a garden in the east bay that had a long narrow deck in a terraced back garden. We took out the deck, removed concrete and leveled it as best we could to install a flat grass area to play on. Many packs of naturism seeds were sowed in the all the flower beds. I love the way both gardens turned out!

Making

January was a month of making things indoors with wood and textiles, I'll share more of that soon! This weekend I'm looking forward to having outdoor time in our garden. The weather is supposed to be glorious.

Garden Fever

Happy weekend folks! It's raining in the Pacific NW today but warm enough to be outdoors. If I look closely I can see the buds on the trees and the daphne is just about ready to open.
