Jane is hosting 'flowers in the house' on her charming blog this week. Sadly I don't have flowers in the house because our cat Raven had a few nibbles last week of lupine and wasn't feeling well afterwards. Luckily I noticed and took him to the vet right away. I don't grow or buy lupine as they are very toxic, but was given some as a gift that I intentionally guarded however he was persistent! Rav is feeling well again and I've posted a few photos of flowers that are safe to grow for pets and children, little miniature carnations (that smell like cinnamon) and nasturtium. It's been sunny and rainy this week here but summer is on it's way and the river is beautiful. Hope you're enjoying your week so far. Back soon with a simple recipe. Cheers.
