My middle daughter was born on Valentine's Day and even though she's not a child anymore, she loves to plan parties for her birthday ! I wanted to make a little decor for her and was inspired by the cover of Living this month.. Super easy DIY tissue flowers ~ I took a few images of the process along the way.

Wow you brought me back to my childhood when I was making tissue flowers for something to do on a cold rainy day in Michigan. Thanks for the pictures, you have a great site here.

Wow... that brought back memories. We made these from Kleenex back in the "old days!" I remember being scolded for using those "expensive" tissues to make flowers... but then it was the 1950s so they probably were a luxury! Never thought about rounding the edges... they look like hydrangeas. Sometimes we'd fray the edges to look like carnations. I'm headed to the craft closet for some tissue paper... gonna make some of these! Thanks for the memory jog! Susan
