Visitors

Over the weekend we heard some unusual sounds coming from the attic.. and found out we had visitors from neiboring trees ugh! This little furry guy was playing there. We called a great aborist who came yesterday and trimmed back the maple trees, cutting out their access. Now to cover up the opening they made !

Lodekka

Beach Vision

Putting together ideas for a beachy outdoor space and loving these images from Cote Sud magazine. I especially like the sail repurposed as an awning. 

Weekend Project

Over the weekend I decided to do a little project in my own garden. I took out the strip of grass between the street and sidewalk which tends to get mucky when the rain starts. In it's place I found some round and square stepping stones. I then filled in around them with black minus gravel and I love the look of it. Plus now it's super easy to get out of the car and onto the sidewalk without muddying my shoes. It took about 5 hours and some man power but the end result is great !

Apple

It was sad reading about Steve Jobs .. thought I would send out good intentions to his family, friends and 'apple' employee's. We would be lost without our apple stuff.

Ocean Beach

Our family loves the beach..I took these pics last week on one of those rare Indian summer days in San Francisco. While in the Sunset district working on a few gardens, I stopped by Mollusk Surf Shop to pick up the lastest surfer's journal for my guy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Campbell House

 

The Campbell house is located in Eugene Oregon. It's grounds are lovely and it is one of the largest homes built in 1892. Check it out here. We stayed in one of their suites over the weekend while visiting the youngest of the crew at the University of Oregon... go ducks !
