Looking at inspiration this week for outdoor dining. Found a few lovely ideas in older mags. like cote sud, cote ouest and country living. Trying to decide on what look to go for under a patio for at least 6 to dine. Here are three very different settings.
After gardening here for many years, I cleaned out and said good bye to my garden plot in the Michaelangelo children's park in San Francisco this week. Some lucky person on the very long waiting list will be happy to have you ! Thanks for all the delicious sorrel and scented geraniums you've grown. I will miss you..
On the road this week. Here are few photos of a train ride from Portland through the Cascades to Seattle. Loved it so much and encourage everyone to ride a train! There is Mustard seed growing all along the tracks.
Found this great tool shed by Sparrow and Finch, they call it 'the smart Beehive shed', love it. I also like this clever idea by postcarden. Send a garden anywhere. Yay !
I love the subtleness of the pink and blue in this image by cote ouest. It makes the green pop! Hope your weekend was nice, and if you're a mother Happy Mother's Day.
Thinking of ideas for our flower and herb garden this year. Just rediscovered a special book I've had for twenty years. Now I appreciate the uniqueness of the flowers the author has chosen for her recipes. Beauty from a Country Garden by Catherine Kanner. Also really into the willow edging and lanterns for accents in the garden.
