I'm teaching a children's gardening workshop today at Plant It Earth on Divisadero and Grove Street in San Francisco, and we're making terrariums, so fun.. I took these photos yesterday at another cool spot called the General Store on Judah Street. Really great natural products from local artists. Oh yeah and one more thing GO GIANTS !! sites plantitearth.com and visitgeneralstore.com

Go Giants indeed, we Redskin fans want Dallas to lose!
Love the terrariums, wish I was taking your class. I'm short enough I might fit in.

I really like the whimsy of the terrariums you pictured! I would love to see a picture of the one you did for a little inspiration. Have a great weekend!

those terrariums are so whimsical and practical! seems like the trick is finding interesting glass containers!

Are the terrariums made from seed or so they start from cuttings, they look great for kids to get them interested in gardening.

Loving the shapes of the terrariums pics 1 and 3! May I ask where one can find that shape for the glass terrariums?

vicky,
I believe the best thing would be to do an online search for them. Sorry I can't give you a precise source. Thank for stopping by gardenrooms. ~ Robyn
