lavender wands are easy to make using fresh english lavender from a garden. Begin with an uneven amount of flowers such as 7 or 9 stems and tie them under the blooms with a ribbon leaving one long tail of ribbon. Turn the wand upside down and fold stems over the blooms making a cage out of the stems. Next weave the ribbons in and out of stems until the blooms become enclosed in ribbon.

I stumbled upon your blog while researching some info on Le Moulin Bregeon in France..I love your blog it relaxes me! also , lavender is so pretty when used raw and natural like that tied with ribbons and just sit in the room spreading its lavish and relaxing aroma around.. much better than a sachet in my opinion!
