Marie Claire

Thanks for reading this week. I have some wonderful gardenrooms to share over the weekend with you. In the meantime, I love this photo from Marie Claire mag. I found it on a design blog and would love to give credit for it, let me know if it's yours. The purple flowers are lavatera, or commonly known as tree mallow. Oops, the purple flowers are actually petunias. Thanks Laurel.

This is a beautiful photo! I love the purple lavatera. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I am so happy to have discovered your blog! It's absolutely beautiful and an amazing source of inspiration. However, it looks to me as though the purple flowers in this photo are not lavatera but actually petunias in a large basket hanging from the arbor. Fantastic -- just goes to show the garden snobs that "petunia" is not dirty word!

lovely photo.

I love purple and I love petunia so purple petunia look wonderful to me

your blog is beautiful! i'm so glad i've found you! xo
